Better

The painting bug has bitten again. Our living room and dining room are now 'burnt pumpkin', and last night, when we lit candles, it was like sitting inside of a jack-o-lantern. Here is a small sample of the color: Orange! I'm thinking fuscia for the hallway. I'll keep you posted.

You know, dear, they DO make colors which aren't generally used to decorate carnival rides.

You should try to be more like me ... bland, boring, old and tired.

Seriously, the pumpkin looks good. I just hope you don't give your wicked stepmother any ideas; she's repainting the living room this winter and it's getting harder every day to steer her away from "bold" colors. It's those damn magazines!

Who taught her to read?!

I was thinking, maybe that pumpkin shade is availabe by Clairol. Might bring out the green in my eyes!

P.S. you should continue this food theme. Cranberry bathroom. Pumpkin dining/living area... what will the paint faery bring next? mg

They have, I've heard, a color called Macaroni & Cheese. We're thinking about using it in the kitchen.
